Rowan weather: Quiet week ahead

Looks like a calm weather week ahead, until Friday, when a slight chance of showers creeps in.

Today will be sunny and 84, with less humidity. Winds will blow from the northeast at 5-8 mph. The low tonight will be a refreshing 61 degrees, with light east wind.

Tuesday will be sunny and 86, with light wind. The low will be 66.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 87, with south winds around 5 mph in the afternoon. With a low of 67, Wednesday night will be partly cloudy.

Thursday’s high of 88 will come with mostly sunny skies. The low will be 69.

Then a 30 percent chance of showers arrives after 11 a.m. on Friday. It will be partly sunny and 85. The chance of showers and a possibly thunderstorms goes up to 40 percent Friday night, with a low of 69.

Saturday will have a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 82.

Saturday night will have a 40 percent chance of showers and storms and a low of 66.

Sunday should be partly sunny and 82, with a 30 percent chance of showers.
