Regan Alexandra Wike and Corbin Thomas Shive of Concord were united in marriage Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Childress Vineyards in Lexington.

Pastor Mike Shoaf officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception in The Pavilion at Childress.

The bride was escorted by her father, Reggie Wike, and wore an Avalynn gown custom designed by Winnie Couture which featured a blended lace bodice and a French Victorian cathedral train adorned with Swarovski crystals. She was attended by Leigh Smith of Oak Island as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Costner Merrifield of Denver, Susan Driscoll of Stanfield, Sydney Wilson of Salisbury, Drew Myers of Cleveland, Katie Weaver of Charlotte, Jessica Wilson of Bessemer City, and Emily Angles of Kannapolis and junior bridesmaid was Blythe Elliott of Mooresville.

Taylor Shive of Salisbury was his brother’s best man. Serving as groomsmen were the bride’s brother, Gavin Wike of Salisbury, Trey Holmes, Noah Holmes, Ethan Hiatt, and Evan Hiatt all of Rockwell, Sean Pope of Huntersville, Shane Basen of Fort Mill, S.C., and Jordan Hudson of Indianland, S.C.

Preston Harris of Fuquay-Varina, Nora Malek of Salisbury, and Maggie Zimmerman of Rockwell served as flower girls. Honorary attendants included Kristin Regan of Raleigh and Karleigh Wike of Salisbury.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald F. Wike of Rockwell and granddaughter of the late Betty and Bob Waddell and the late J.R. Driscoll, Sr. and Mrs. Mary (Pug) Coan and the late Gene F. Wike of Salisbury. A 2010 graduate of East Rowan High School, Regan graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She is a fourth grade teacher at Millbridge Elementary School.

The groom is the son of Ms. Kathy Smith of Archdale and Mr. Brent Shive of Rockwell and the grandson of Mrs. Lucille Smith and the late Tom G. Smith of Glen Allen, Va. and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Shive of Rockwell. A 2009 graduate of East Rowan High School, Corbin graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013 and received his Master of Accountancy in 2014 and his CPA in 2015. He is employed as a Senior Associate with Grant Thornton LLP in Charlotte.

Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple are making their home in Concord.
