Blotter, June 2: Vehicle break-ins reported in restaurant parking lots

In Salisbury Police Department reports:

• A man reported his vehicle was broken into Wednesday while parked in the Outback Steakhouse parking lot, 1020 E. Innes St.

• A man reported his truck was broken into Wednesday while parked in the Cracker Barrel restaurant, 1070 Freeland Drive.

• A woman reported a breaking and entering Tuesday in the 1400 block of West Bank Street.

• A man reported a breaking and entering Tuesday in the 1200 block of West Innes Street.

• Boral Tru Exterior reported vandalism Tuesday at 175 Circle M Drive.

• A woman reported Tuesday that a lawn mower was taken May 27 from her property in the 700 block of North Lee Street.

• A man reported vandalism Tuesday in the 100 block of North Shaver Street.

• A man reported a burglary Tuesday in the 1200 block of West Innes Street.

• A man reported Tuesday that his vehicle was stolen in the 800 block of Maupin Avenue.

Eddie Charles Gladden, 59, was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor assault on a female while at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office.

• Jacob Obrian Brewer, 21, was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor marijuana possession in the 100 block of East Kerr Street.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A woman reported Tuesday that a bag of jewelry was stolen from her home sometime between April 16 and May 22 in the 100 block of Swimmers Lane.

• A woman reported vehicle vandalism Tuesday in the 3600 block of Mount Hope Church Road.

• A man reported Tuesday that he was assaulted by his wife in the 3000 block of Hall Road, Mount Ulla.

• A woman reported a handgun theft Tuesday in the 12300 block of Cool Springs Road, Cleveland.

• A woman reported a burglary Tuesday in the 1000 block of Beaten Path Road, China Grove.

• A woman reported Tuesday that jewelry was stolen between April 11 and May 14 in the 200 block of Deal Creek Drive.

• A woman reported a larceny Tuesday in the 3600 block of Brown Road, Mount Ulla.

• A woman reported an assault Tuesday in the 100 block of Neel Road.

• Robin Dale Quick, 33, was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 100 block of Nanas Way.
