A teacher in the Iredell-Statesville Schools has been charged with indecent liberties with a minor and assault on a female following a March 27 report to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office that the teacher was touching students inappropriately.

Neil David Krasnigor, 57, at teacher at Mt. Mourne IB School was charged with seven counts of indecent liberties with a minor and one count of assault on a female.

He was arrested following interviews of students and witnesses, along with a review of the incident by the district attorney’s office.

Krasnigor was arrested May 3 and is being held under $100,000 secure bond.
