Tomorrow the anticipation will finally be over! The new batch of decorated pianos, stationed outside shops along Main Street in Salisbury, will be unveiled at 5:30 p.m. during Downtown Salisbury’s First Friday Night Out.

Artists this year are students — along with some parents and faculty — from Catawba College, Livingstone College, Hood Theological Seminary, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, North Hills Christian School, Rockwell Christian School and the Rowan County Home School Association.

You’ll be awed by the incredible creativity these schools brought to transform these donated instruments into real works of art! Not only that, but music students from each school, listed here, will be serenading the public on their respective piano for the first hour or so. After that, the pianos are open to the public for play and display, and will remain so for the next five months through September 30. So come and enjoy them… you may discover you’re the next Mozart!
