Bobby Ray Gilland and Elaine Morgan were married April 28, 1957 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church by Rev. John Burton.

They are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary at Myrtle Beach, S.C. with their family, Angie Porter and Ken and Elizabeth Gilland. Their grandchildren are Jason and Alise Porter and their great-grandchildren are Olive and Miles Porter.

Bobby retired from Textile and Elaine retired from BellSouth and AT&T. They reside in Rockwell.
