The Rowan Museum’s 1819 Utzman-Chambers House, located at 116 S. Jackson St., will have a special open house on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This summer, the house will get some major renovations and will be closed while these are going on. This Saturday is the last chance before this happens.

Youth from First United Methodist Church will also be on site assisting in painting the picket fence around the property. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children. For more information, contact the museum at 704-633-5946 or rowanmuseum@fibrant.com
