Public hearing scheduled for tax increase in Enochville

The Enochville Volunteer Fire Department will have a public hearing on April 10 to receive input about raising its tax rate by slightly less than 1 cent.
The public hearing will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Enochville Volunteer Fire Department — 808 N. Enochville Avenue, China Grove, N.C. 28023.
During the public hearing, the fire department will receive citizen input about a proposed tax increase for the fire district from 7.05 cents per $100 in valuation to 8 cents per $100 in valuation.
