In 2018, Hurley Park will be 30 years old, so this year’s event from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 2 will be the kick off for a year-long celebration. The park is at Lake Drive and Annandale Avenue, near the hospital.

Entertainment includes the Salisbury Swing Band, the Soap Bubble Circus and the Salisbury Symphony’s Musical Petting Zoo. The Rowan County Master Gardeners will be on hand and there will be an Arbor Day celebration tree planting sponsored by the Salisbury Tree Board. Carriage rides by Horse & Carriage LTD of Salisbury will be available to take you and your group all around the park, plus you will be able to get a custom printed T-shirt by Ink-It on site to remember all the fun.

Admission is free. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy the music. Call 704-638-4459 for more information.
