Today: Fish fry at St. Luke’s

MT. EAST SPENCER — The UMA will not have a business meeting today.  The  next business meeting is April 15 at Tower of Power United Holy Church, 601 East Cemetery St.

Sunday service: The United Ministerial Alliance will host its joint worship service at 7  p.m. Sunday at Love Christian Center, 102 N. Long St. The Rev. Rickey Johnson, pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Granite Quarry will deliver the message. Bishop W. Ronald Hash is host pastor.

Appreciation at New Beginning

Guest speaker at St. Luke Baptist

St. Luke Baptist Church in Hawkinstown will host the Rev. Dr. Regina Dancy as guest speaker on Sunday.    Dr. Dancy was ordained in 1999  and earned her master’s and doctoral degrees from Hood Theological Seminary.  Presently she is chief financial officer and director of human resources at Hood.

Blessing of the Children Worship Service

The F.A.C.T. (Families and Communities Together) will have its monthly “Blessing of the Children Worship Service” on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Lilly’s Chapel Church of God, 618 W.
