Local Bridge with Myrnie McLaughlin

There are only four short weeks until Salisbury hosts the Annual Dogwood Sectional Tournament. It is held on the weekend of March 17, 18, and 19 at the Rufty Holmes Senior Center.

Players come to Salisbury from SC, Va, Ga, Md and all over NC. It’s a great time to show off our city. We have a reputation for having a very friendly tournament and for good food. Our Salisbury folks are the nicest and most helpful in our unit. Once again we need food donations on that weekend as well as some help with filling in to play with those from out of town without partners. Please let John or me know if you are willing. Thanks.

We had 7 tables in play on Friday, Feb. 10 Evergreen game. Winners: 1st Pat Macon and Judy Gealy, 2nd Pat Featherston and Sonjia McHone, 3rd Ron Jeffers and Georgia Sorensen; E/W 1st Fern Albracht and Christy Cline, 2nd Jean and Loyd Hill, 3rd Myrnie and John McLaughlin.
