Rowan weather: Rain today, but weekend looks good

We can expect showers today, with a 90 percent chance of rain, and more gusty winds.

Most of the showers will be before 1 p.m. Northwest winds will blow at 9-14 mph, gusting as high as 23 mph. The high will be 52, with a quarter to half inch of rain possible.

Tonight will be clear and cold, with a low of 29. Winds will shift from the north northwest to the west southwest at 5-7 mph.

Thursday will be sunny, with another high around 50. West northwest wind will blow at 6-11 mph. Thursday night will be clear and right at the freezing mark.

Friday warms up a bit to around 62, with west southwest wind at 5-7 mph. The low will be 37.

The weekend looks good, with a high Saturday of 65 under mostly sunny skies. A 30 percent chance of rain moves in after 10 p.m., with a low of 44.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and warmer, with a high of 68. The low will be 44 again.

For President’s Day, expect sunny skies and a high of 69. The low will be 46.

And Tuesday will be partly sunny and 69 again.
