Upcoming interest mixer for ambassadors on Feb. 23 at ballpark

KANNAPOLIS — The Kannapolis Intimidators are inviting members of the community interested in being a part of growing the team’s fan base to attend an interest mixer for the new Ambassadors program next Thursday, Feb. 23, at  6:15 p.m. in the stadium conference room.

Ambassadors utilize their contacts and connections to help fill the stadium and in turn, receive special incentives and prizes along the way. This is an opportunity for fans to gain a behind-the-scenes look at the organization, while earning their own rewards for helping to build support for the community’s team.

Shenika Worthy, the Intimidators new Group Sales Manager and Ambassadors Coordinator, brought this program to the team following her experience as one of the top sales executives in the WNBA with the Atlanta Dream.

“This is an opportunity for fans to take ownership in the success of the Kannapolis Intimidators,” said Worthy. “Simply by referring a friend and sharing the excitment of Intimidators baseball, anyone can become an Intimidators Ambassador.”

Anyone interested in learning more about the program is invited to attend the interest mixer on Feb. 23. Please RSVP by calling 704-932-3267 or

by emailing sworthy@intimidatorsbaseball.com — no later Feb. 21.
