Rowan weather: Showers and storms tonight

Fog and mist will greet you this morning, then give way to a mostly cloudy day with a high of 69. Southwest wind will blow at 3-7 mph.

A 50 percent chance of showers moves in tonight, with thunderstorms possible after 9 p.m. The low will be 46. South southwest wind at 6-10 mph will shift to the west. A tenth to a quarter inch of rain is possible, with higher amounts in thunderstorms.

Thursday will be sunny and cooler, with a high of 52. The wind roars back from the northwest at 11-21 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Thursday night will be clear and cold, with continued windy conditions. The low will be 23, with northwest wind at 8-13 mph, gusting up to 20 mph.

Friday will be mostly sunny and even cooler, with a high of 48. Calm wind will shift to the south southwest at 5-9 mph in the afternoon. The low will be 36.

Mostly sunny Saturday, and warmer, with a high of 65. The low will be 49.

Then it’s back to 70 degrees Sunday, with mostly sunny skies. The low will be 52.

Monday will be warm, too, with a high of 68 and mostly sunny skies. The low will be 41.

And Tuesday will cool off a bit, with a high of 59 and more sunshine.
