Coastal Carolina honor list

Jessica Snider, of Salisbury, was named to the President’s honor list for high academic achievement for the 2016 fall semester.

Furman University Dean’s List

Emily Gale, of Kannapolis, was named to the Dean’s List for 2016 fall semester. Furman’s Dean’s List is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system.

Newberry College Dean’s List

Derrick Copeland, of Kannapolis, was named to the Newberry College Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester. To be honored with the Dean’s List at Newberry College, students had to achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the semester.

Wilkes Community College Dean’s List

Katelyn McKenzie Parker, of Salisbury, was named to the fall 2016 Dean’s List of Wilkes Community College.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, full-time students must complete 12 or more semester hours of college-level courses (excluding credit by examination) and have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, with no grade below a B.
