Rowan weather: Another blustery day

Be prepared for another windy day. At least it will be warmer.

Today should be sunny with a high of 59. Southwest wind will blow at 9-15 mph, with gusts up to 22 mph. Tonight, winds will calm to 5-9 mph, and we’ll have a low of 39.

Wednesday will be 59 again, with mostly sunny skies and winds at 5-7 mph in the afternoon. The low will be 38, with mostly cloudy skies.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and 55, with north northeast wind around 6 mph shifting to the west northwest in the afternoon. Thursday night has a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly between 1 and 5 a.m. The low will be 35.

Friday also has a 30 percent chance of rain, around noon. It will be partly sunny and 45. The low will be 29.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 45, and the low will again be 29.

Sunday — don’t panic — we have a 50 percent chance of rain and snow. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 43, so there should be no snow accumulation. Sunday night has a 40 percent chance of rain, with a low of 32.

Monday should be mostly sunny with a high of 53.
