KANNAPOLIS — Rodney Efird, pastor of West A Tabernacle Baptist Church, will be ordained on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. He will be assisted by the Rev. Jay Moon.

Rodney is the fourth generation on his mother’s side to become a pastor. He has attended West A Tabernacle since he was a baby. He and his wife Misty have three sons. Rodney’s parents are Dan and Teresa Efird.

Services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
