• Relay for Life of Rowan County will hold its Team Rally/Kickoff at 6 tonight at St. John’s Lutheran Church fellowship hall, 200 W. Innes St. Christine Browne of Rowan Hospice and Palliative is the guest speaker. A leadership/committee meeting follows.
• First United Methodist Church (Salisbury) Preschool is now open for enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year. The program serves 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds.
