SALISBURY — Police say they’ve identified a man who they believe died after he fell off his bicycle on Sunday. Officials say Gregory Beck Jr. of Salisbury did not have any identification on him.

A passerby found Beck in the 1400 block of North Jackson Street around 7:30 p.m. Investigators have said they did not suspect foul play, but believe since the bike’s brake handle was compressed and the man was found not far from the bicycle, his death was a result of a fall.

According to Capt. Shelia Lingle, the family of Gregory Beck Jr. were notified Monday afternoon.
