Rowan weather: Rain at last

Today, we’ll see scattered showers with a little bit of fog this morning. The chance of rain is 50 percent. It will be cloudy and warm, with a high of 69. South southwest winds will be strong, at 10-18 mph, gusting as high as 33 mph. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.

Tonight most showers will be before 8 p.m., with a 30 percent chance of rain. The low will be 60, and south winds will calm to 7-11 mph.

High winds are possible Wednesday, along with isolated thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. Most showers and storms will be after 4 p.m. The high will be very warm, 72. The chance of rain is 80 percent. Winds will continue from the south, at 10-18 mph, with gusts up to 26 mph. A half to three-quarters of an inch of rain is possible.

Expect showers before midnight Wednesday, then rain, which could be heavy at times. The chance of rain is 80 percent, with a tenth to quarter inch of rain possible. The low will be 47, with southwest wind at 5-10 mph.

Thursday will be sunny and cooler, with a high of 61. Winds will shift to the west at 3-7 mph. The low will be a cold 33.

Friday will be sunny and cooler, with a high of 55. The low will be right at freezing, 32 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 33, then we develop a 30 percent chance of showers Saturday night, with a low of 34.

Sunday will have a 40 percent chance of showers and be mostly cloudy, with a high of 51. The same chance of rain continues into Sunday night, with a low of 38.

Monday has a 30 percent chance of showers, too, but will be mostly sunny, with a high of 56.
