KMD Construction celebrates 15 years and national award

SALISBURY — KMD Construction, LLC is pleased to announce their 15-year anniversary.

Kyle and Kim Davis established their commercial construction business in October 2001. Over the past 15 years, KMD has enjoyed building for national clients throughout the southeastern area of the U.S. and beyond.

Originally licensed only in North Carolina, KMD currently holds building licenses in 11 states and has building privileges in several more.

KMD Construction was initially focused on the grocery store industry and fulfilling this unique niche throughout the Carolinas. Through their continued success, the natural progression of their business allowed them to expand to all types of commercial construction including medical, retail, industrial, aviation, restaurant and historical projects.

KMD proudly builds for several national clients including Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Whole Foods, Kroger, Food Lion, Darden Restaurants and Costco.

Local projects include the Rowan County Airport, Salisbury Business Center/Integro, Auto House, Jimmy Johns and the Washington Building.

Recently, KMD has been recognized as one of the Nation’s Top 500 Remodelers. Qualified Remodel has ranked KMD at 154 of the top 500 remodel companies in the nation. Rankings are based on gross sales associated with remodeling projects.

Approximately half of KMD’s projects qualified them to receive this top distinction among the industry. Kyle Davis said that he was “proud to be recognized and is pleased that our team has been acknowledged as one of the best in the Southeast…” He hopes to continue to grow and expand as opportunities are made available.

Davis continued on to say, “It’s been a great 15 years and our team is poised to make the next fifteen even better … Nobody can compete with the group of professionals that we have put together; they are why our clients continue to send us work and to help us grow.”

Kyle and Kim have lived in Salisbury for more than 20 years. They are active supporters of local causes including Civitan, Waterworks, Lee Street theatre, Crosby Scholars, Livingstone College and Novant Health Rowan Medical Hospital.

KMD Construction corporate headquarters is located at 1001 W. Innes St. Further information can be obtained by visiting their website: www.kmdconstruction.net or by calling 704-636-6560.
