Smith ~ Fisher Engagement

Ms. Alicia Holbert Lachance of Hendersonville, Mr. Tony Grant Smith of Blacksburg, Va. and Mr. Eric  Martin Lachance of Scottsdale, Ariz. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Baylee Lorraine Smith to Mr. Benjamin Carrol Fisher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luke Carrol Fisher of Salisbury.
Baylee is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis W. Kenyon and Mr. Randy Holbert of Hendersonville, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Huff and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith of Blacksburg, Va. and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Lachance of Las Vegas, Nev. A 2010 graduate of Ashley High School in Wilmington, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2014. Baylee teaches first grade at Springfield Elementary School in Charleston, S.C.
Ben is the grandson of Dr. Carrol Jay Warren Fisher of Salisbury and the late Sonia Trutie Fisher, and Mr. James Thomas Lindley Sr. of Burlington and the late Mary Johnston Lindley. He graduated from Salisbury High School in 2005 and attended North Carolina State University and Cape Fear Community College where he earned a degree in Sustainable Building Systems. Ben works with Home Energy Group out of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and is a Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Coast Guard Reserves.
A November wedding is planned at First Presbyterian Church in Salisbury.
