Rowan weather: A small chance of rain

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible today after 4 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 79, with north northeast wind at 8-14 mph, and gusts up to 22 mph. The chance of rain is just 30 percent, with less than a tenth of an inch expected.

Tonight also has a 30 percent chance of showers, and will be mostly cloudy with a low of 65. Northeast wind will calm to 6-9 mph.

Thursday has a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, too, with storms mainly after 2 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy again, with a high of 80 and more northeast wind at 6-10 mph.

And Thursday night also has a 30 percent chance of showers and storms before 10 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 65, with northeast wind at 3-5 mph.

Friday’s chance of precipitation is only 20 percent. It will be mostly sunny and 84, with north northeast wind at 3-6 mph. Friday night’s low will be 62, with partly cloudy skies.

Saturday will be warmer, with a high of 88 and mostly sunny skies. The low will be 65.

Sunday will be mostly sunny again, with a high of 81. The low will be 60.

For Monday, expect partly sunny skies and a high of 76, with a low of 60.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and 77, so we’re getting closer to seasonal temperatures.
