Well, our chances for rain this week are drying up, along with everything green.

Today, just a 30 percent chance of scattered showers after 4 p.m. It will be partly sunny and 82, with north wind at 5-9 mph. Tonight has just a 20 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 66 and north northeast wind around 6 mph.

Wednesday has a 40 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy with a high around 80. North northeast wind will blow at 7-14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.

There’s a 30 percent chance of showers Wednesday before 11 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m., then more showers are possible. It will be mostly cloudy and 65, with northeast wind at 7-9 mph.

Thursday, the first day of fall, will be mostly cloudy and cooler, with a high of 79 and northeast wind at 7-9 mph. There’s a 30 percent chance of showers, then showers and storms after 1 p.m. The same chance of rain holds through Thursday night, with a low of 66.

Friday will be partly sunny and 83, with a low of 64.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 87, with a low of 65.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and 82, with a low of 60.

And Monday will be partly sunny with a high of 79.
