Rowan weather: Warm today, Thursday, then a little break

You may see some fog again this morning before 9, then it turns into a mostly sunny day with a muggy high of 88. Winds will be calm this morning, then shift to the east southeast around 5 mph this afternoon.

Tonight, more patchy fog is possible after midnight. It will be partly cloudy with a low of 65 and calming south winds.

Thursday has a 20 percent chance of showers after 11 a.m., but will be mostly sunny again, with a high of 85. Light east northeast winds will increase to 5-10 mph in the morning. The 20 percent chance of rain sticks around Thursday night, which will be mostly cloudy and have a low of 67.

Friday and Friday night also have a 20 percent chance of showers. Friday will be partly sunny, too, and a bit cooler, with a high of 82. East northeast wind will blow at 7-9 mph. The low will be 67 under mostly cloudy skies.

For Saturday, we’ll have a 30 percent chance of showers, but it will again be partly sunny and the high will be 82. No rain for Saturday night, with a low of 68.

Sunday, Sunday night and Monday all have a 40 percent chance of showers, and later, thunderstorms.

Sunday will be partly sunny and 84. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with a low of 68.

Monday will be partly sunny and 84, too, with that chance of showers and storms. The chance of rain goes down to 30 percent Monday night, with a low of 66.

And Tuesday’s going to be a lot like the previous couple of days, mostly sunny, a high of 84, and a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
