Rowan weather: Foggy morning, foggy overnight

Patchy, dense fog is showing up around the county today, and will linger until around 9 a.m.

Later, it will be partly sunny with a high of 85, with light winds. Tonight brings more fog after midnight and a low of 65 with light south wind.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 88, with wind becoming southwest at 5 mph. A partly cloudy night will have a low of 68.

A 30 percent chance of showers comes in Thursday after noon. It will be mostly sunny with a high of 87. Winds will become east northeast around 6 mph in the afternoon. Thursday night also has a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of 67.

Friday will also have a 30 percent chance of showers after 10 a.m. It will be partly sunny and cooler, with a high of 81. Friday night continues the 30 percent chance of showers, mostly before 11 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of 64.

Saturday, too, has a 30 percent chance of showers, after noon. It will be partly sunny and 82. And Saturday night, it’s the same chance of rain, with showers and thunderstorms possible before 10 p.m and a chance of showers after that. The low will be 67.

Sunday will be a little different, with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 84. It’s back to a 30 percent chance of showers and storms for Sunday night, with a low of 67.

And Monday has a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with partly sunny skies and a high of 85.
