SALISBURY — Triple Threat Dance & Charm is now in its own location on Corriher Avenue.

The dance and charm group is now at a studio at 129 W. Corriher Ave., and they will be celebrating their grand opening on Sept. 10 from 2 to 6 p.m.

The group was previously housed at the Salisbury Parks and Recreation facility and Krystal Stukes, founder and CEO of Triple Threat, said she hopes to continue the group’s partnership with the city.

The new facility includes a main dance studio where dancers can practice their tap, hip hop, majorette and ballet moves, a boutique where merchandise and required attire can be purchased and a Cinderella room for the charm girls to practice modeling and oral speeches.

There is also a break room and an area for dancers to read and work on homework. Stukes said she hopes to soon make the location a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Rev. Carollene Gardin freehanded the paintings of Cinderella and dancers on the multi-colored walls. Pictures of the girls at competitions also hang up on the walls and various trophies and awards are in a display case in the lobby.

Stukes said with the help of dance moms and the community, she was able to move into the new space in about a month.

“We’re just glad to be able to have our own home,” she said.

Triple Threat Dance & Charm is offering free registration and a free, limited-edition T-shirt for new dancers. To register or for more information, contact Krystal Stukes at 3xthreatdance@gmail.com.
