As the rail expansion project from Salisbury to Kannapolis continues, please note the following upcoming crossing closures/information:

• The Church Street railroad crossing in China Grove is scheduled to close temporarily to install the second rail starting Sept. 20 through Oct. 7.

• The Ryder Avenue railroad crossing in Landis is scheduled to close temporarily to install the second rail starting Sept. 26 through Oct. 10.

Once Ryder Avenue is reopened, the Mill Street railroad crossing in Landis will be closed permanently.

The NCDOT will distribute flyers to the business and homes in the next couple of weeks for the Church and Ryder closings.
