Nationally renowned storyteller Connie Regan-Blake will perform

SALISBURY, N.C. – Nationally renowned storyteller Connie Regan-Blake will perform a one-hour family storytelling concert on Thursday, Sept. 15th, in Rowan Public Library’s Stanback Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

Regan-Blake transforms a packed theater into an intimate circle of friends with an irresistible blend of humor, wisdom, and spontaneity. She has entertained audiences in 47 states and 17 countries, captivating minds and hearts of festival audiences, corporate professionals, school children, and lovers of stories from every walk of life.

Recognized for igniting and shaping the American storytelling revival, Regan-Blake has served as a founding board member of the National Storytelling Association and is a frequent host and featured performer at the National Festival in Jonesborough, Tenn. She has also explored the intersection of storytelling performance and classical music and collaborated with The Kandinsky Trio on a touring performance titled, “Tales of Appalachia: Stories and Chamber Music.” This innovative blend has been hailed as “a new art form.”

Rowan Public Library Headquarters is located at 201 W. Fisher St. in Salisbury.
