• Steppin’ Out Social Club All Black attire party, Firewater Restaurant and Lounge. $10 admission. 9:30 p.m. -2 a.m. Cash bar. Kitchen open. Music by DJ Peaches. Age 30 and up. Black attire is not required.
• North Rowan Connection 100 Men In Black Choir Concert 5 p.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Long Street. All proceeds benefit the North Rowan Connection Hope Scholarship. Soloists: Eugene Nunn, George Heggins, Kenneth Abel, Jaylen Walker, Thad Harris, Albert Horne, Randy Hyde, Keith Holland, Eric Holland, Maurice Hooper, Eric Reid.
