Cress retires as Granite Quarry’s maintenance supervisor
GRANITE QUARRY — Granite Quarry Mayor Bill Feather said Monday Kim Cress, the town’s maintenance supervisor for 18 years, has accepted a buyout package and is now officially retired.
“We’re going to miss him,” Feather said, adding that Cress will continue to make himself available to the town whenever his expertise is needed. Cress’ last day was Friday.
