The Salisbury Elks #699

The Salisbury Elks 699 participated in a Veterans stand down at the VA Medical Center on Friday, May 13. The event was held to provide homeless veterans with information, medical/dental help and basic necessities. The Elks provided our vets with caps, socks, underwear, undershirts, deodorant, sunscreen, toothpaste and brush along with a variety of other personal care items, as well as snacks.

The need is there for our homeless heroes and as long as there are Veterans, the Elks will never forget them. This is a motto with the Elks Grand Lodge which helps support events such as these across the country.
