CHINA GROVE — The WCCAA named its all-conference team following the middle school championship tournament at Warrior Golf Club on Tuesday.
Earning WCCAA-honors were Sacred Heart’s Ben Childress (individual champion) and Luke Graeber; Salisbury Academy’s Charlie Barr, Hank Robins, Will Fowler and Mitch Jeter; North Hills’ Landon Merrell; Concordia Christian’s Connor Matthews, Jack Tomlinson and Davis Chamberlin; and Hickory Christian’s Matt Auten.
Salisbury Academy won the event with a team score of 158, followed by Sacred Heart (172), Concordia Christian (182), Hickory Christian (212) and North Hills (220).
