FAITH — Rowan Diagnostic Clinic, PA, of Salisbury will open a primary care office in Faith on Monday, June 13, with Dr. Gary Fink and physician assistant Daniel Crowe continuing their long-time medical practice at the same location in the community.

Fink, Crowe and the Faith staff have recently become associates of Rowan Diagnostic Clinic (RDC), which now employs 99 health care providers and support staff.

The Faith office, located at 1000 Brown St., will be the third that RDC operates in the area, with its main facility at 611 Mocksville Ave., Salisbury, and another office in Cooleemee at 143 Marginal St.

Fink has practiced at the Faith office for more than 30 years. He signed an agreement with RDC in March and Crowe signed in April.

Fink, an internist and primary care physician, will initially see patients at the Salisbury office, beginning May 23. Crowe will begin work at the Salisbury office on May 26. Both will operate initially in Salisbury under a limited schedule.

Current patients of Fink and Crowe may move their records to RDC by filling out an application at the RDC website, rowandiagnostic.com/appointments, or they may go by the main Salisbury office and pick up an application.

RDC will call patients to schedule an appointment time. Filling out the new patient application in advance will speed the process of making appointments and avoid a transfer of records procedure.

Other staff members at the Faith office will include Heather Sebastian, Fink’s medical assistant; Jennifer Harris, Crowe’s medical assistant; and Mandi Cameron, Jody Morgan and Christy Yoe, front desk assistants and patient support.

Rowan Diagnostic Clinic said in a statement: “We know how highly Dr. Fink is regarded by his patients. We are pleased to help the eastern Rowan community maintain its relationship with him. RDC will make every effort to ensure an easy transition for his patients to his new practice.”

Dr. Fink said that he is “excited to be associated with this group of highly respected internists in Rowan County.”

RDC is an independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical practice with 34 physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants on staff.

Specialties include endocrinology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, pulmonology and critical care, rheumatology, hospitalist services, IMPACT (Internal Medicine Pre- Anesthesia Care and Treatment) pre-operative services for patients undergoing surgery, and aerospace medicine, including airmen medical examinations for both private and commercial pilots and high altitude testing for altitude sickness.

The practice is also certified by the state to perform Department of Transportation physicals. It maintains the only office-based colonoscopy and upper endoscopy suite in Rowan County, and the suite is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC).

RDC internal medicine, family medicine and subspecialty physicians provide patients with a fully integrated, efficient, and effective system of care. Dr. Christopher Agner, past president of RDC, senior shareholder and son of the founder, describes the clinic’s practice model as “finding good people and providing them freedom and support to best serve their patients.”
