Rowan weather: Warm and windy

Today will be about 10 degrees cooler than Tuesday, and winds from the north northeast will emphasize that.

We’ll have mostly sunny skies with a high of 74, and the wind will blow at 8-11 mph, gusting up to 22 mph. Tonight’s low will be 52, and the wind will calm to 6 mph and shift to the east.

Thursday has a 20 percent chance of showers in the afternoon, but will be partly sunny, with a high of 76. Light winds will come from the south at 5-8 mph in the afternoon.

The chance of showers is 30 percent for Thursday night, mainly after 11 p.m. The low will be 60, with south winds at 5-9 mph.

Friday will be mostly cloudy and 74, with a 60 percent chance of showers before 11 a.m., then showers and thunderstorms. Southwest wind will blow at 8-10 mph.

Thunderstorms are possible Friday night, with a 60 percent chance of rain. The low will be 57.

Saturday clears up, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 75. The low will be 52.

Sunday will be sunny with a high of 78 and a low of 56.

Sunny again Monday, and warmer, with a high of 82. The low will be 59.

And Tuesday looks mostly sunny, with a high of 84.
