Few of us are comfortable talking about death, whether our own or the death of a loved one.   Unfortunately, our veterans are often guilty of not talking about it.

On May 23, the Rowan County Veterans Service Office will host a seminar to help veterans and their families with these important plans and decisions.

Special guest speakers from the National Cemetery Administration,  the Salisbury Community Living Center (Nursing Home), the Salisbury Veterans Hospice, the North Carolina State Veterans’ Home and the Rowan County Register of Deeds will speak and answer your questions.

The seminar will be held at 6 p.m. at the Rowan County Cooperative Extension facilities at 2727 Old Concord Road.

To RSVP, please call the Veterans Service Office to reserve your seat.   704-216-8138
