April Bridge

It’s good to resume our normal schedule after Easter break. Hope you all had a good time.

In an effort to help our players earn higher points in the Salisbury games, we will hold three Charity Fund games in April. Evergreen will hold them Friday, April 15 and April 29. The Women’s Club Charity game will be Tuesday, April 19. These games will cost $6 with $1 going to charity.

Congratulations to our Salisbury players who went to the Charlotte Sectional tournament and came home with some points.

Winning in the Tuesday, March 29 Women’s Club game were: tied for first/second, Judy Gealy and Pat Macon with Dick Brisbin and Jon Post; third, Chuck and Margaret Rimer; fourth, Toni Iossi and Maggie Canup.

Friday, April 1 at Evergreen our winners were: N/S First, Judy Hurder and Loyd Hill; second, Ron and Shirley Jeffers; third, Dick Brisbin and Pat Featherston; E/W First, John and Myrnie McLaughlin; second, Andra Cozart and Jan Glover; third, Chuck and Margaret Rimer.

Pat Macon and Patsy Reynolds had the best N/S score defeating opponents’ 4HE 2 tricks, while the best E/W score was made by Genny Mozolak and Joe O’Brien bidding 3CE making 5.

The April 5th Women’s Club game winners: 1st Betty Bills and John McLaughlin, 2nd Pat Macon and Judy Gealy, 3rd Ron and Shirley Jeffers, and 4th Maggie Canup and Judy Hurder.
