Conversations from the Porch to hold health and human services forum

Published 12:00 am Sunday, April 10, 2016

Health and human services resources will be the topic when Project Cover presents the latest in its Conversations from the Porch community meetings 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at The Heritage Room, 118 E. Council St.

The session will feature a panel to include Donna Fayko, director of Rowan County Department of Social Services; and two people from the Rowan County Health Department: Sharon Owen, nursing director, and Angie Worly, nursing supervisor.

The forum will focus on the resources available through these departments for the citizens of Salisbury-Rowan County — children, adults and seniors.

Light refreshments will be served.

Project Cover invites other non-profits to display or provide information about their services at these forums, space permitting. For more information, call 704-782-0072.

Conversations from the Porch is a community outreach program dedicated to encouraging the inclusion of our diverse community regarding decision making processes while encouraging all to experience the power of talking to gain knowledge.
