Tournaments and progress

For those of you who can’t get enough of tournament play, put these dates on your calendars:  Charlotte Sectional March 31-April 3; Morganton Sectional April 29-May 1; Greensboro May 13-May 15. Hope many of you can support these games as they supported us.

Several of our players have achieved enough points to advance to higher levels toward Life Master.

Georgia Sorensen and Toni Iossi became Club Masters, Wade Lowder and Fern Albracht Sectional Masters, and Pat Macon Masters level. All of these players are relatively new to duplicate in sanctioned games.

Our Evergreen March 18 game winners were: N/S First, Dick Brisbin and Pat Featherston; sceond,  Fern Albracht and Wayne Pegram; third, Marie Pugh and Ruth Bowles.

E/W First, Chuck and Margaret Rimer; second, Toni Iosssi and Maggie Canup; third, Patsey Reynolds and Loyd Hill.

Featured is board#16 from that game. It’s once again an almost impossible one to bid with no pair having game going points.  E/W vulnerable   West dealer
