Rowan weather: Rain coming Saturday

It’s another cool morning, but we’ll reach 70 today under mostly sunny skies. A North northeast breeze at 5-7 mph will pick up this morning.

Tonight, a 30 percent chance of rain is possible with a low of 44.

The rain we were expecting for Sunday will show up Saturday, instead, with a 70 percent chance during the day. It will be cloudy and much cooler, with a high of 56. East wind will blow at 5-8 mph. The chance of rain Saturday night is 60 percent, with a chilly low of 39 and northeast wind around 6 mph. None of the rain should be heavy.

Sunday, a 30 percent of showers lingers, and it will be mostly cloudy and even cooler, with a high of 52. More north wind will make it seem cooler. Sunday night has a 20 percent chance of showers, mainly before 9 p.m. The low will be a cold 33.

But Monday will be sunny, with a high of 54 and a low of 31. It’s still too early to start planting.

Tuesday will be sunny and 61, with a low of 42.

We warm up 10 degrees for Wednesday, with sunny skies and a high of 71. The low will be 50.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 74.
