Rowan weather: Another windy day

It’s going to be a windy March day today, with south southwest winds at 6-13 mph and gusts up to 21 mph.

Skies will be partly sunny and the high will be around 75. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low of 58 and the wind calming to 5-7 mph.

A 20 percent chance of showers, mostly in the late afternoon, is expected Friday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 76. Chance of rain Friday night will be 30 percent, with a low of 57. Winds will shift to the east northeast.

Saturday, too, has a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly in the morning. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 65. There’s a 20 percent chance of showers Saturday night, with a low of 57.

Sunday has a 50 percent chance of showers, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 69. The chance of showers sticks around Sunday night, with a low of 56.

For Monday, it’s a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be partly sunny with a high of 73. The chance of rain remains Monday night, with a low of 52.

Then the sun returns Tuesday, with a high of 75 and a low of 49.

We’ll be very close to 80 degrees Wednesday, with sunny skies and a high of 78. Hello, summer — and it’s not even spring yet.
