The Blanche and Julian Robertson Family Foundation has recently named Mary Heather Steinman as its office manager.

“The Board of Trustees is quite excited to have Mary Heather working with our foundation. She has exceptional organizational and office management skills, as well as an enormous love for this community,” said board chair Margaret Kluttz. “Furthermore, Mary Heather possesses an in-depth understanding and appreciation of the work in which our community’s nonprofits are engaged.”

Steinman holds a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in hospitality management from Appalachian State University. She has held positions with 1st Home Federal Savings and Loan, Sheraton Hotels, Guilford County Schools and the Salisbury Animal Hospital.

Her many volunteer positions include Hurley School PTA president, president of the Salisbury Swim Team and Southern Swim Team Conference. She has also served in a variety of leadership positions with booster and PTA organizations at Knox Middle School and Salisbury High School. She is an active member of First United Methodist Church where she teaches Sunday school.

She is married to Todd Steinman and they are the parents of Will, Amelia and Joe, all students at Salisbury High School.

“Having the opportunity to work with and for the Blanche and Julian Robertson Family Foundation is truly an honor,” Steinman said. “I love Salisbury and Rowan County, and this foundation has done so much over the years to make this a great place to live. We are all lucky to have this institution here, and I am lucky to have the chance to help it have as much impact as possible.”

The Blanche and Julian Robertson Family Foundation’s office is located on East Council Street in downtown Salisbury. For more information, contact the foundation at 704-637-0511, or at info@bjrff.org.
