Operation “No Man Left Behind” Bible Boot Camp was held Jan. 29 and 30 at Carmel Baptist Church, Mooresville Road. Active 8 Bible Club for Kids grades K-8 hosted the annual youth lock-in. Activities which all focused on spiritual lessons included preaching by Pastor Dale Kindley of Emanuel Baptist Church, Salisbury; timed obstacle course; Bible quiz; storytime; calisthenics; and free time activities, games and puzzles. Active 8 Bible Club meets Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. at the church.
