The North Carolina Department of  Transportation will temporarily close a segment of Peeler Road in the 500 block at the Town Creek bridge, between Pleasant Place Road and Waddell Drive starting Monday, Feb. 15 at 9 a.m., for a bridge replacement project.

The road will be completely closed to through traffic and will not reopen until June 15.

A signed detour route will be in place from I-85 to Peach Orchard Road to Hader Street.
