Rowan weather: Showers headed our way

Tuesday is starting off 10 degrees warmer than Monday, so more of the lingering snow and slush should melt today.

Here’s the forecast from Steve Monday of Rowan County Weather:

Today: Increasing cloudiness with a 40 percent chance of isolated showers. High of 52 and a low of 36. Accumulation of less than a tenth of an inch is expected.

Wednesday: 70 percent chance of overnight and early morning showers. High of 44 and a low of 40. Accumulation of around a temth of an inch is possible.

As I expected, the model showing snow chances went back away from the very limited chance I saw for Thursday.

Thursday: Mix of sun and clouds with a high of 44 and a low of 29.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high of 48 and a low of 31.

Saturday: Sunny with a high of 55 and a low of 30.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high of 58 and a low of 38.
