SALISBURY — Rowan-Salisbury Schools will be closed Monday for students due to road conditions judged to be too icy because of freezing and refreezing expected overnight.

The school system said 10-month staff will have an optional work day Monday, but that all staff should operate under a three-hour delay. All school activities are canceled as well.
