Rowan weather: A very blustery day

It’s not quite as cold as Monday today, but the frost was just as thick. After a start in the 20s, the day will warm to almost 50 degrees.
A light south southwest wind will turn to the west southwest at 11-16 mph today, with gusts as high as 32 mph, so 50 degrees might not feel that warm.
The wind continues tonight, at 5-14 mph, with gusts up to 22 mph. The low will be 22.
Wednesday will be sunny, but cooler, with a high of 42 and light winds. Wednesday night’s low will be 24.
Sunny for Thursday, too, and a bit warmer, with a high of 52. Southwest winds will blow at 5-7 mph. Not as cold Thursday night, but still freezing at 32 degrees.
A 40 percent chance of showers will make Friday afternoon. It will be mostly cloudy and 51. The chance of showers goes up to 60 percent Friday night, with a low of 39.
And a 40 percent chance of showers lingers Saturday, with partly sunny skies and a high of 53. Saturday night’s low will be 32.
Partly cloudy Sunday, with a high of 45, and a low of 25.
Martin Luther King Day will be sunny, but cold, with a high of 40.
