The Tim Tebow Foundation has a great passion for people with special needs, and to celebrate the foundation’s 5-year anniversary, Night to Shine was created — an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs at host churches across the country.

First Baptist Church Salisbury, 223 N. Fulton St., will serve as one of the more than 100 churches around the world that will host Night to Shine simultaneously on Friday, Feb. 12.

Every guest of Night To Shine will enter their prom on a red carpet complete with welcoming friendly paparazzi. Once inside, guests will receive VIP treatment including a hair and makeup station, shoe shining stations, corsages and boutonnières, a karaoke room and of course, dancing. The highlight of the night will come when every one of the Night to Shine guests is crowned as a king or queen of the prom.

Last February, this nationwide event took place simultaneously at 44 churches in 26 states and 3 countries. Each prom included special elements such as a red carpet entrance with paparazzi, limousine rides, hair and makeup beauty stations, shoe shines, a dance floor, food and much more. More than 7,000 honored guests were celebrated by more than 15,000 dedicated volunteers in their communities on this incredible Night to Shine.

As host church, First Baptist of Salisbury will be accepting registration forms (registration is mandatory for attendance). Find the forms at fbcsalisbury.org and click on the Access Ministry link.

For more information, contact Jtan Whisenant at 704-638-0806. Deadline for registration is Jan. 22.
