In case you missed it, Monday’s Post included a list of addresses where residents have gone above and beyond to decorate their homes with Christmas lights, brought to you by our own Electric Elf, reporter Rebecca Rider.  With all that’s going on in the world, holiday lights might not seem newsworthy to some people. But Christmas displays have a way of lifting spirits and bringing joy.

As British writer Harlan Miller once said: “The outdoor Christmas lights, green and red and gold and blue and twinkling, remind me that most people are that way all year round — kind, generous, friendly and with an occasional moment of ecstasy. But Christmas is the only time they dare reveal themselves.”
