CLEVELAND — Students from Cleveland Elementary School are helping people in need by manning the Salvation Army’s red kettle at IGA grocery store today.
The school volunteered to help on Monday and Tuesday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. All money raised will go to help those in need and towards providing Christmas assistance to families and children in Rowan County.
The bell-ringing children raised about $200 on Monday and expect to do as well or better today.
